1Solo.com, the Marketplace of antiques, vintage, collectibles and hand made is born “from the bottom”. It is, in fact, the first initiative born from an association of antique dealers, restorers and traders who animate the Borgo Dora in Turin, the famous “Balon”.

Balon is the traditional and ancient flea market of Turin, one of the largest antiques, vintage, modern and reuse markets in Europe. Every 2nd Sunday of each month the special edition “Gran Balon” (Big Balon) is “staged” with over 450 exhibitors.

1Solo.com since its conception has set itself the goal of supporting traditional trade and crafts by giving the opportunity of a platform with services and functions that keep the intrinsic characteristics of the sector intact as much as possible.

1Solo.com gives antiques, vintage, flea markets and reuse operators one more possibility to reach end customers, while simultaneously increasing the positive impact of the dissemination of reused and restored products.

The idea then meets the opportunity when the City of Turin launches the “call of proposals” for innovative experiments aimed at enhancing the city suburbs as part of the Living Lab – AxTO.

The project is presented at the end of 2018 and ranks at the very top. After about 9 months of experimentation, of “desired” collection with the Association of Balon Traders through the organization of continuous “focus groups” with the different types of operators in the sector, 1Solo.com!

Graduated in aerospace engineering, he has held marketing and commercial management roles in Start-ups and SMEs. In 2014 he founded Magma, a marketing and communication agency with offices in Turin and Alba. Founder & CEO of Equy S.r.l. innovative tech start-up – benefit company.

Among the founders of EQuy, he is an expert in photographic image and new technologies. Franco Franchini also has extensive experience in training for companies on corporate organization issues. In Equy Srl he deals with project and portfolio management.
